We fished in the TBA event today. We started out throwing topwater in the slop. Bobby missed a good fish when it tangled up in the mess. I then caught a 17 inch fish swimming a lizard over the top of the stuff. I then decided to split shot a lizard for the rest of the day. I caught two more bass and a Bowfin. The bass were 13" and 17 1/2 inches so at least I had a keeper. The Bowfin was around 10 pounds.
During the course of the day, Bobby broke his sunglasses, I threw a rod and reel overboard and broke another rod that I was borrwing from Bobby while swinging in a fish. All in all, an expensive day.
