We had a plan to try the back of LWO to see if the crappie had moved shallow.  We picked up 12 dozen minnows and headed out.  We arrived and set up right at dark.  From 7:15 to around 8:00 we had pretty steady action with pretty decent sized keepers.  We got ansy around 8:30 though and decided to make the run to the bridge to see if we could find some bigger females.  That turned out to be a mistake as there were at least three boats under the bridge. 






I was surprised to see folks out because it was in the low 40's with a stiff wind.  Pretty miserable.  We tried a cove or two and caught a few more.  We caught around 30 and kept about 18 good ones.  Pretty rough evening but we will stay longer a little later this week.
