"EARLy Fishing"

For there being a Hurricane off Hatteras, it sure was a nice morning here.  300 baits in one throw and off to spot number 1.  We did not have much luck there managing only 3 fish.  Spot number 2 was better.  We saw this and caught 15 bass.  At one point, I saw this fish swim under the transducer, lowered a bait, and caught it.  David was fishing three rods for awhile and managed a rare one person triple!  Spot number three was just as good with another 15 bass coming from there.  I was fishing alone for awhile after that and managed another 4 at spot number 4.  Jaime then met me after work and we netted another 400 shad and went shallow.  31 bass later, we called it an early evening.  A VERY fun trip with the average fish weighing a little more than 4 pounds and most of the strikes on top!  Fishing at Harris is not tough right now, just different.
