After a short nap and a change of gear, John met me at the plantation and we headed out on a Haw River adventure. First stop was getting a few Gizzard Shad for the Channel Catfish. After that, we caught 60 or so Bluegills for the Flatheads. We set up and fished about 5 spots in the course of the evening. We caught 6 Channel cats up to ten pounds and had on several nice Flatheads. I got lazy and had bad line on and that cost me all the big fish. Oh well, I know they are there and I will get them in a week or two! A lot of fun and good to hang out with the Team Greggofish charter member.
