The hot as of late bass bite certainly cooled off today. We saw the same fish, but getting them to bite proved very difficult. There were boats on a few of the spots I wanted to try so that did not help any. In the end, we just barely made the minimum for the 5 hour trip. It was still fun but I sure wish I could have gotten those guys on a big bite. The bass will come back around and our biggest days are in front of us. Of this, I am sure.
