"Grits?"

Met up with our out of town party (NY) and off we headed into a beautiful NC almost Spring day.  We had along for the ride, about 300 nice sized Shad we caught earlier this morning.  We tried what worked well yesterday and found the fish to be a lot less aggressive.  We moved around a lot and caught a few fish here and there including quite a few catfish and two Pickerel.  We only boated one bass for the trip but it was a nice one at 8lbs. 6ozs.  I had a wonderful time with an outstanding family and am very glad I was available to take this trip.  2010 is starting off better than any yet!
